Levant Foods is a Mediterranean food import and distribution company based in Hong Kong. Because of the company’s expansion, we are seeking to hire a competent and diligent sales person who can help the company expand its presence in the HK market. Work in a start up environment with a fast thinking, fun team and become an essential part of the company’s success.

Working Hours:

Sales people don’t look at their watches!


  • Experience working with western food products is an advantage

  • Knowledge of the food service sector is desirable (Hotels, Restaurants, Food Production, Catering etc.)

  • Likeable with ability to build honest and lasting relationships with customers and colleagues

  • Fearless road warrior who enjoys face to face with customers and picking up the phone

  • Good command of English and Cantonese with polite communication skills

  • Willingness to do the hard work of generating and qualifying leads

  • Competent with CRM, Sales Order softwares.

  • Honest and reliable personality

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet the sales targets and objectives set with the MD

  • Lead generation and qualifying of potential customers

  • Meetings and presentations with customers

  • Create proposals and sales material

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers

  • Coordinate and work closely with sales support colleagues

  • Assist in marketing efforts - Events, Sampling, Promotions etc.


  • Salary based on experience and existing network - Negotiable

  • Commission to be agreed as a package with basic salary

Working Hours: Monday - Friday / 9.30am-6:00pm


  • 2-3 years working experience in a permanent role

  • Preferably previous working experience in accounts or logistics departments

  • Good command of English and Cantonese

  • Competent using spreadsheets, inventory and accounts software

  • Comfortable speaking with customers and associates on the phone

  • Good organisational and administrative skills

  • Honest and reliable personality

Job Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records of receivables and payments

  • Prepare monthly customer statements

  • Assist manager in collections

  • Prepare necessary logistics documentation

  • Keep the company inventory software updated

  • Process bank deposits and payments to suppliers and associates

  • Prepare monthly reports as per the company’s reporting procedures

  • Support the management in any other administrative capacity required

  • Work with the rest of the team to achieve the company’s wider goals
